Town of Pittsford offices, facilities, and services - including Town Hall and Town Court - will be closed on Friday, April 2 in observance of the Good Friday holiday; the Spiegel Pittsford Community Center is open on Friday April 2 for scheduled programs only. 
 
The Pittsford Community Library will be open on Friday, April 2 but closed on Saturday and Sunday, April 3 and 4 in observance of the Easter holiday.
 

Early Spring Cleanup begins Monday, March 29 and continues through May 21. During this time Town crews will collect loose piles of leaves, thatch, brush, branches and yard debris on an ongoing basis (no set schedule). Please note crews will pick up both loose debris (no set schedule) and debris in reusable containers or paper bags (on your weekly pickup day, see below) through May 21.
 

Pittsford programming April 9 - April 16 on TV-12 Spectrum Digital Channel 1303 features a look back at the 2018 Spiegel Center re-opening. Stop by the Spiegel Pittsford Community Center Monday, April 19 through Saturday, April 24 and take a stroll through our “Earth Day, Birthday” story walk in the Community Center field. Follow a story full of Earth Day activities – and some drama! It's April 22, and Lion, Giraffe, Crocodile and other animal friends want to plant trees, recycle bottles and have fun on Earth Day, but Monkey wants to celebrate his birthday instead.

A new Town park protects and preserves a unique ecology in the heart of Pittsford.

We’ll hold our official ribbon-cutting for the Town’s new Erie Canal Nature Preserve at noon on Earth Day – Thursday, April 22. Come visit our new Nature Preserve and learn about our plans for an onsite Native Plants and Pollinators Garden!

Fellow Pittsford Residents:

Pittsford undertook an update of its Parks and Recreation Master Plan in 2012. A major component of the updated plan consists of a study of field use and recommendations arising from the study. Those recommendations marked the start of the Town's Athletic Field Improvement Initiative, which you can see HERE. Ballard King and Associates, one of the top recreation consulting firms in the country, served as consultant for the Master Plan.

Our Zoning Code Update is underway.  Current pandemic protocols prevent traditional in-person workshops at this time but the Interactive Mapping Tool on our Zoning Code Update website provides a virtual workshop that’s open 24 hours a day, seven days a week through April 25.
