The Town of Pittsford Parks Department serves to provide and maintain high quality parks, recreation facilities, trails and open spaces that meet the full range of passive and active recreation needs of Town residents.

The Town of Pittsford Highway Department’s responsibilities are in three functional areas: highway maintenance, yard debris and leaf collection, and snow and ice control.

What we do:

The Code Enforcement Office is primarily responsible for the issuance of permits and the enforcement of State and local building codes, Town policy, Temporary Activities, New York State Fire Prevention Code, Energy Code as well as various local municipal codes and ordinances.

Please note: the Town Clerk's Office requires an appointment for marriages and notaries; please call (585) 248-6210. Other transactions don't require an appointment and can be accepted through the secure mail slots located in the front and the back doors of the Town Hall building as well. Thank you!

As leaders we enable the ideas, opinions, and concerns of a wide variety of interests in town affairs and use that input to manage the town government in the most effective and efficient manner.

The Technology Information department exists to provide integrated computer-related solutions to meet the needs of both residents and staff of the Town of Pittsford. We strive to develop, promote and lead a partnership between Town Business and Technology for improved customer service and to further the Town's commitment to a high standard of excellence.

The Human Resources Department coordinates the Town's hiring procedures including job postings, staff recruitment and selection, and new employee orientation. The Human Resources Director provides employee support in the form of training, development, and benefit management.
