Many of our daily activities affect the water quality of our local fresh water bodies. Anything that enters the storm sewer system is discharged into the water bodies we use for swimming, fishing, and drinking. Even some interior drains enter the storm sewer system. It will take all of us working together cooperatively with neighbors in our communities to keep water clean. In order to facilitate snow removal, Town of Pittsford winter parking restrictions are now in effect. Parking of any vehicle on public roads - including state highways and on the shoulder of all roads - is prohibited each year from November 15 through April 1 in all areas within the Town and outside of the Village. Please note violators may be ticketed or towed. Help us keep our roadways safe - during this time, please don’t park on or along public roads outside of the Village.
