The Pittsford Community Library's summer hours will begin June 25. Starting June 25, the Library will be open Saturdays from 10:00am - 1:00pm and closed on Sundays. The Library will continue regular weekday hours: Monday – Thursday from 9:00am – 9:00pm and Fridays 9:00am – 6:00pm. Regular weekend hours will resume September 10.

In the last week and more we’ve seen a disturbing resurgence of young people jumping from Canal bridges into the Canal.  This is an astonishingly dangerous thing to do.

In my announcements at Tuesday’s Town Board meeting I asked those planning to do this to refrain, and for their parents to prevent it from happening.

Our Spiegel Pittsford Community Center’s summer hours begin on Sunday, June 19.  The Community Center will be closed on Sundays, and close earlier on weekdays and Saturdays.  Please see the schedule below:

Town offices and the Spiegel Pittsford Community Center will be closed Monday, June 20 in observance of the State and Federal Juneteenth holiday; the Pittsford Community Library will remain open for regular hours. Juneteenth commemorates the end to slavery and celebrates Black and African American freedom and achievements. It was June 19, 1865, when the news of emancipation came to Texas more than two years after President Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation went into effect on January 1, 1863.

Pittsford programming June 10 - June 17 on TV-12 Spectrum Digital Channel 1303 features the 2022 Pittsford Memorial Day Ceremony.
