Celebrating Arbor Day and a Commitment to Sustainability

We celebrated Arbor Day by planting a sycamore tree at Great Embankment Park - a beautiful day for it! Town Supervisor Bill Smith was joined by Deputy Town Supervisor Kate Bohne Munzinger, Town Board members Stephanie Townsend and Kim Taylor, Town Environmental Board Chair Steve Heinzelmen, Environmental Board members James Pippin and Caroline Kilmer, and members of the public. We'll be planting six more native trees in the park this spring - including sugar maples, oaks and additional sycamores.
