We’ve stopped the gas leak at Town Hall but because the full repair can’t be completed until Wednesday, 12/3. Therefore, Town Hall will remain closed today (Tuesday, 12/3) and will reopen at 1:00pm on Wednesday (12/4). 

12/3/24 9:30am:
Town Hall is temporarily closed today (Tuesday, 12/3) due to a gas leak in the building. Contractors are working to fix it now. We will let you know when the leak is fixed and the building can reopen. 

Town of Pittsford offices, facilities, and services including Town Hall, the Parks and Sewer departments, and Town Court will close at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 27 and remain closed Thursday (11/28) and Friday (11/29) in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.  The Town Highway Department will be closed on Thursday, November 28; regular Town leaf collection services will be provided on Friday, November 29.

NO TOWN TAX INCREASE FOR PITTSFORD IN 2025
Supervisor’s Budget holds tax rate flat; maintains all Town services 

Town Supervisor Bill Smith has presented a proposed Town Budget for 2025 that keeps the Town tax rate flat for a fifth consecutive year and maintains all current Town services.  The Town Board approved the 2025 Budget on November 19.  

"Notwithstanding the pinch of inflation, my budget for 2025 avoids a tax increase while maintaining funding for all of the Town’s services and events," said Supervisor Smith.
