Early Voting is Oct. 25 - Nov. 2
Election Day 2025 is Tuesday, November 4. Polls are open from 6:00am to 9:00pm. Early voting in Monroe County begins October 25 and continues through November 2. The Pittsford location for early voting is Pittsford Town Court, 3750 Monroe Ave, Suite 950.

Proposed 2026 Town Budget Keeps Tax Rate Flat - Public Hearing is 11/5/2025
At the October 21, 2025 Town Board meeting, Town Supervisor Bill Smith presented his 2026 Town budget. The Supervisor’s budget holds the Town tax rate flat – with no increase to the tax rate. It continues funding for all of the Town’s services and events.
Sunset Blvd closed Tuesday, 10/21 for sewer pipe repair
Work scheduled for 8:30am – 3:30pm
A portion of the street near #85 Sunset Boulevard will be closed on Tuesday, October 21 from 8:30am to 3:30pm so Town crews can repair a sewer pipe. Crew members will be on site to manage local traffic access. Through traffic will not be allowed and must detour via Buttermilk Hill Road. Thank you!
Columbus Day/ Indigenous Peoples Day closures for Monday, 10/13
Town of Pittsford offices, facilities, and services, including Town Hall, the Highway, Parks, and Sewer departments, the Spiegel Community Center, and the Town Court, will be closed this Monday, October 13, in observance of the Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples Day holiday. The Pittsford Community Library will be open regular hours (9:00am – 8:00pm). In case of an emergency requiring Town of Pittsford services during the holiday closure, please call (585) 248-6212.
Town closures for staff meeting today, Friday, October 3
Due to the annual Town of Pittsford staff meeting, Town Hall will close at noon on Friday, October 3. Please note this includes the Town Clerk/Tax Office. The Town Highway, Parks, and Sewer departments will also close at noon. The Pittsford Community Library and the Spiegel Pittsford Community Center will remain open, keeping their regular hours.
All Town offices will resume regular hours on Monday, October 6.
Road Median Work Under Way Oct 6 - 17 on Monroe Ave at Canal Bridge
DDS Companies, the contractor for the Westport Crossing project, will begin work this Monday, October 6 to install a road median on Monroe Avenue just west of the Canal bridge, at the Westport Crossing project site. Monroe Avenue will be reduced to alternating one-way traffic from the signal light at 3750 Monroe Avenue to the railroad crossing just east of the Canal. The lane reduction will take place from 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Traffic flagging crews will be onsite to manage traffic flow.
