PLAYGROUNDS CLOSED
Our parks are open, but playgrounds in Pittsford are closed.
There's no possible way to sanitize every swing, slide and every other piece of playground equipment after every use. The only responsible choice is to close.
Town crews will be replacing any current signage at playgrounds that suggests they may be used, and will take other measures as well. But, sign or no sign, Town playgrounds in Pittsford are now closed.

THORNELL FARM PARK CLOSED, ALL TOWN PARK FIELDS & COURTS CLOSED
Trails remain accessible
Here’s what "social distancing" means: it means staying at least 6 feet away from anybody else.
It doesn’t mean “unless you’re playing soccer.” It doesn’t mean there are exempt areas where this standard doesn’t apply. Like parks, for example.
