The Hundred-Foot Journey – February 2

Seniors, join us on Thursday, February 2 for a free morning movie matinee featuring The Hundred-Foot Journey, a culinary culture-clash comedy! Reservations are due by January 31.

Hassan Kadam (Manish Dayal) is an extraordinarily talented and largely self-taught culinary novice. When he and his family are displaced from their native India and settle in a picturesque French village, they decide to open an Indian eatery. However, Madame Mallory (Helen Mirren), the snobbish proprietress of an acclaimed restaurant just 100 feet away, strongly objects. How will the rivalry play out in this quaint but closed-minded village?

The movie begins at 10:30am in the VanHuysen Community Room at the Spiegel Pittsford Community Center; enjoy coffee, breakfast pastries and popcorn while you watch. Pizza will be served after the movie.
