Thursday Morning Movie Matinees for Seniors

Seniors, join us on for a free morning movie matinee, popcorn and breakfast treats, then stay afterward for an optional pizza lunch if you'd like! Registration is required.

Held in the VanHuysen Community Room at the Spiegel Pittsford Community Center, our movies begin at 10:30am. Enjoy complimentary coffee, breakfast pastries and popcorn while you watch. An optional lunch of pizza, salad and dessert is available after the movie at a cost of $6.00. Advance reservations are required for the movie and for lunch. The Greatest Showman - August 1

Seniors, join us on Thursday, August 1, for a free morning movie matinee featuring The Greatest Showman– a modern musical about the life of P.T. Barnum! Enjoy a complimentary selection of coffee, breakfast pastries and popcorn while you watch the film, then stay afterward for a lunch of pizza, salad, and dessert if you’d like! 

The movie begins at 10:30am in the VanHuysen Community Room at the Spiegel Pittsford Community Center. The movie and snacks are free; the cost for the optional lunch is $6.00 per person. So we can plan accordingly, please register for the movie and for the lunch by July 29. 

The Greatest Showman is a 2017 musical drama that tells the story of P.T. Barnum, played by Hugh Jackman, and the creation of the Barnum & Bailey Circus. After losing his job as a shipping clerk, Barnum takes a major risk by securing a bank loan to open a museum of oddities. When the museum fails to attract visitors, he creates a live show featuring unique performers, which leads to the birth of the circus. The film’s infectious music and lovable characters make it a modern musical destined to become a classic!
