The Founder - August 14

Seniors, join us on Thursday, August 14, at 10:30am for a free morning movie matinee featuring Big Business! Enjoy a complimentary selection of coffee, breakfast pastries, and popcorn while you watch the film, then stay afterward for a lunch of pizza, salad, and dessert if you’d like!

The Founder portrays the true story of how Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton), a struggling salesman from Illinois, met Mac (John Carroll Lynch) and Dick McDonald (Nick Offerman), who were running a burger operation in 1950s Southern California. Kroc was impressed by the brothers' speedy system of making the food and saw franchise potential. Kroc soon maneuvers himself into a position to be able to pull the company from the brothers and create a multi-billion dollar empire.

Register by calling the Senior Center at 248-6235; reservations are due by August 11.
