Wednesday, April 8, 6:00pm - 7:30pm: Crochet Club: Mushrooms!  
Crochet a little mushroom – materials and tools provided. Best for crocheters with some experience. Grades 6-12. Registration required. 

Friday, April 10, 2:00pm - 3:00pm: Retirement: Making Your Money Last  
Attendees will discover investment strategies to help maximize their money during retirement. Additionally, we will address key concerns like inflation, healthcare costs, and market volatility, as well as how to plan for unforeseen circumstances. Presented by Robert Nestrick, financial advisor at Edward Jones. Registration recommended

Sunday, April 12, 2:00pm - 3:00pm: Food Choices for Our Health and Environment  
Color Pittsford Green hosts a panel discussion on how food production affects the environment. The current system is a major source of greenhouse gases, climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. However, changing our food choices can be a powerful way to fight climate change and boost human health. The discussion will explore local initiatives that support resilient systems for both human and planetary health. Registration recommended

Tuesday, April 14, 6:00pm - 7:30pm: Best of the Fest: Award Winning Short Films  
This program features six short films from the Rochester International Film Festival’s collection of audience favorites. It includes comedies, dramas, animations, and a documentary. These films range in length from 3 to 22 minutes.  

Tuesday, April 14, 5:00pm - 6:00pm Teen Writing Group  
Connect with other writers and explore your creativity through prompts and activities. Sharing your writing is always optional! Grades 6-12. Registration required 

Wednesday, April 15, 9:30am - 10:00am: Music and Movement with Miss Kate 
Miss Kate is a board-certified music therapist who uses live music, movement, and story-songs to promote early language, motor skills, literacy, and social-emotional development. Best suited for ages 1-4 with a caregiver, but children of all ages are welcome. Registration is required for children.   

Saturday, April 18, 2:00pm - 3:30pm:  FreeShop: Thrifting at The Library  
Save the date! Everyone is invited to explore garment thrifting at the library! Browse through racks of carefully selected pre-loved clothes and find a new-to-you piece to add to your spring wardrobe, all for free. RIT students will also be present, sharing their experiences with thrifting, mending, and upcycling their wardrobe. The community can donate up to three clean (washed) shirts, hoodies, or button-downs in any style. Items can be dropped off at the library. Garments should fit sizes ranging from middle school to adult. Selected items will be available to patrons at the FreeShop thrifting event at the library on April 18. All items are free, but attendees are encouraged to bring a canned good to donate to the Pittsford Food Cupboard.
