The Pittsford Community Library continues to offer an engaging mix of educational, cultural, and community-centered programs for residents of all ages this spring!

Sunday, March 1 - Thursday, March 12: Plant a Tree with Neighborhood Forest
Kids in grades pre-K – 12 can register to receive a free tree seedling to plant at home. Seedlings will be available for pickup at the library before Earth Day on April 22. Participants will receive an email for pick-up times. Planting instructions and species information will be available at pick up. Registration is required for each child. 

Thursday, March 12, 1:00pm - 2:00pm: One Big Beautiful Bill: How Your Taxes Are Affected 
Hear about the various credits you may be eligible for via the tax legislation in the One, Big, Beautiful Bill, including no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, deductions for seniors, and no tax on car interest. Presented by a representative from the IRS. Registration required. 

Friday, March 13, 9:00am - 12:00pm: Pittsford Library Opening at 12pm 
PCL will open at 12:00pm on Friday, March 13, to accommodate staff training. 

Saturday, March 14, 2:00pm - 3:00pm: This Talk Is Probably AI 
Cut through the hype and fear to discover how AI can help you in your daily life. This talk will share examples, quick demos of helpful tools, and a few practical tips for staying safe and skeptical as AI rapidly changes. Registration recommended. 

Monday, March 16, 6:00pm - 7:30pm: She, Unsung 
She, Unsung brings together local history and women’s life stories from the Rochester area. This collaborative research project is presented by Chandra McKenzie and Anne Coon. Registration recommended

Tuesday, March 17, 12:30pm - 2:00pm: The Digital Money $eminar 
Many people use the internet to make purchases, pay bills, send money, and bank online. Join technology instructor Daniel Jones to learn about digital payment options. Topics covered will be secure websites, PayPal, Apple Pay, Venmo and more; paying with your smartphone; digital financial management; and banking online. Registration required.
