Sunday, March 1 through Thursday, March 12: Plant a Tree with Neighborhood Forest
Kids in grades pre-K – 12 can register to receive a free tree seedling to plant at home. Seedlings will be available for pickup at the library before Earth Day on April 22. Participants will receive an email for pick-up times. Planting instructions and species information will be available at pick up. Registration required for each child.
Sunday, March 1, 12:15pm - 12:45pm: Cinderella Story Time
Cinderella visits Pittsford! Stop in to hear players from Asbury Community Theatre read the story of Cinderella and discuss their upcoming shows. Photo opportunity afterwards.
Monday, March 2, 6:00pm - 7:30pm: Eleanor Roosevelt's Life & Legacy: Part 1
Learn about the life of Eleanor Roosevelt—from her birth and the loss of both parents at a young age to her education in London and meeting a young Franklin Roosevelt. Hear details of their marriage, his betrayal, and how polio affected their lives. The talk ends with FDR's election to the Presidency in 1932. This is part one of a three-part series on the life of Eleanor Roosevelt, presented throughout 2026 by MCC professor Mark Sample. Registration recommended.
Wednesday, March 4, 10:00am - 10:30am: Move & Play Together
Join dance instructor Miss Kristen for a creative movement, rhythm, and sensory exploration class that will nurture connection and imagination. For ages walking–5 with their caregivers. Registration required for children.
Wednesday, March 4, 6:30pm - 7:30pm: Organic Gardening
This interactive presentation is designed to help you learn how to grow things naturally. Organic lawn care instruction is also included. Presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension. Registration required.

Join PCL staff for a film extravaganza! View trailers of Oscar nominees, vote for your favorites, and pose for a photo on our red carpet. Popcorn and mocktails provided.
