POWER OUTAGE THURSDAY, 7/24/25

5:00pm update - The Town's Design Review and Historic Preservation Board will meet as scheduled tonight at 6:00pm in Town Hall.

3:30pm update - Library back open, Monroe Ave closed at the railroad crossing due to an accident.

Power has been restored to the Pittsford Community Library and it is  reopened.

Also, we have  report of an accident on Monroe Avenue at the railroad crossing, just outside the Village. No injuries reported but the area will be closed for the foreseeable future. We will pass along updates as we receive them.

3:15pm update:
Town Hall and the Library are both closed as power, internet and phone lines are down. If power is restored in time, we will hold the Design Review and Historic Preservation board meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m. we will make that decision by 5:00 p.m. today.

The Spiegel Community Center is open as they have a generator and are operating as usual. The Family Outdoor Movie Night is on for tonight. It's at the Community Center and will begin just after sunset. Features the movie "If."

We're aware that power is out in the area. We're working with RG&E to get information regarding when power might be restored. In the meantime, there could be signal lights out - please use caution if you're on the road. And be sure to stay hydrated and keep out of the heat as much as possible. We will keep you posted as we receive updates.  As of now, our Family Outdoor Movie Night is still on for tonight.
