Emergency Notification Alerts Available for Pittsford Residents

Emergency Alerts graphic

As we shared in the Spring, 2024 issue of our Pittsford Messenger newsletter, Monroe County offers localized emergency notifications to Pittsford residents through its Hyper-Reach service. New York State also has a mass notification system available to Pittsford residents via its NY-Alert program. See details below about these alert programs and how to sign for them.  This information also can be found on our Emergency Alert Notifications page.

MONROE COUNTY HYPER-REACH EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS
Pittsford residents can sign up to receive local emergency alerts through Monroe County’s Hyper-Reach Emergency Notification service. Signing up allows your cell phone, email and/or TDD to be notified for local emergencies and community alerts as well. The program uses your address to provide alerts targeted to your specific geographic area. Home phone (landline) numbers are automatically registered with Monroe County's 911 Center for alerts; registering for Hyper-Reach allows notification via your mobile phone. Sign up is simple and free. Use the QR code below or go online to bit.ly/hyper-reach-signup.
