The Monroe County Department of Transportation has informed us that beginning today, they will be milling and resurfacing along East Street from East Jefferson Road to Thornell Road. The work will take place over the next two to three days (June 1 - 3, 2023). Per MCDOT, interruption will be minimal and will include temporary lane closures directed by onsite County crew members. If you are driving in the area during the roadwork, please use extra caution. Be aware of dust and lose stone on the road surface and watch for construction equipment working in the area.
