Check out Pittsford's community events

The Town of Pittsford takes great pride in offering fun filled, community events that make residents feel like they are on vacation. A true highlight of the summer is our concert series along the canal (beginning June 11). This series is the perfect way to relax and unwind after a long work week. Concerts begin at 6:30PM (7PM in August) and are held every Friday night, with the exception of the July 4th weekend.

Another early event of the season is our Positively Pittsford Festival on June 12 which will feature rides, family activities and great food. As always, music will be a highlight of the day and will include the Pittsford Mendon High School Jazz Ensemble; Where's Dixie; Orient Express; and the Skycoasters. The festivities will be held in the Pittsford Community Library's municipal parking lot and will kick-off at noon.

Back by popular demand will also be our Family Outdoor Movies in August. We will show two feature films on giant inflatable screens at Thornell Farm Park. On August 12, we will be featuring Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel and on August, 26 we will be showing Aliens in the Attic starring two Pittsford natives - Regan and Henri Young.

Pittsford Celebrates will mark the end of our summer season and, as always, will be held on the second Saturday in September. This year, it will fall on 9/11. To honor this historic day, the Town will host a moving tribute at the conclusion of the festival.
