TOWN BOARD:

Local governments exist for the purpose of providing services and public facilities to the people who live within their jurisdiction. The Town of Pittsford is governed by a Town Board, comprised of four Council members and a Supervisor, all of whom are elected at large by the qualified voters of the town. The Town Board meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6 PM in the Town hall, lower level.

VOLUNTEER BOARDS:

The Town of Pittsford also has several volunteer boards that function to oversee and/or provide advisory input for a variety of town processes and responsibilities. Comprised of community members, our volunteer boards play an important role in Pittsford’s success by evaluating information, discussing issues which affect our community, making decisions on matters under consideration, or making recommendations to the Town Board for needed action. Those interested in serving on a volunteer board may submit a resume to the Office of the Supervisor.
