The Town, in partnership with Maven Technologies, will host a computer and electronics recycling event on Saturday, October 16 from 9AM to 2PM in the parking lot of Pittsford Mendon High School. In addition, Monroe County Department of Environmental Services is partnering with METRO Waste Paper Recovery and Rochester Data Storage to provide secure shredding to County residents at this event. There is a limit of two garbage bags per household, not for commercial waste. Please call Metro Waste at 202-9289 if you have any questions.

For the electronics recycling, there is no appointment or packaging needed.  Accepted items include: computers, laptops, modems, servers, peripherals, GPS Units, cell phones, fax machines, copiers, CD players, IT equipment, audio/visual equipment, and telecommunications equipment. Please note there will be a charge for monitors ($5), TVs ($10) and microwaves ($10).

These events will team up with the Pittsford PTSA and their super sale drop off in the Pittsford Mendon High School Gymnasium.  PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT PAINT OR HOUSEHOLD WASTE.
